Convenience Stores

Convenience? Nope.

When I am craving a Reese or want a cold bottle of water, convenience stores are no longer an option. When you have a baby with you, there is nothing convenient about it. I used to be a regular at 7-Eleven. Now I avoid them. Having to carry her and the heavy carseat in, for such a small item, seems unbearable and down right silly. So it has been 3 months since I've seen the inside of a gas station. Have they changed? When Julia is old enough to jump out of the car with me and "run" into the "convenience" store, will I recognize it anymore?

They need to add drive thrus on all gas stations for people with babies in the car, so we can apprieciate convenience of it!

3 Months Old

Our little blueberry...

Is now falling asleep during drives and in shopping carts.

Loves sucking the top of her fist or her thumb if she can find it.

Kicks off all blankets!

Wearing sizes 6-9 months.

Loves to play with my hand while nursing.

Is now smiling back 90% of the time.

Still loves bathes and is now kicking the water all over the place.

Tries to watch TV.

Had her first head cold.

Reaches out to play with toys.

Wears size 1 in infant shoes.

Loves, loves, loves people watching and seeing what is going on around her.

Rolled over from belly to back!

Likes looking at mirrors.

Loves having a good conversation with anyone who knows baby talk.

Mommy is starting to learn what her cries mean.

Daddy coined the phrase "Drive by kisses."

A Mother's Day to Remember

My Mother's Day weekend was... full of happiness. It started with the excitement of Scott flying home from a business trip and enjoying a sushi dinner together.

Daddy and Julia got me this beautiful Pandora charm bracelet for Mother's Day. It was such a thoughtful gift and made me cry.

Julia wore this pretty dress for about 10 minutes before she had an explosion. Next, she wore a pretty pink eyelet dress grandma Dee Dee bought for her.

We had a Mother's Day brunch with some friends at Mimi's Cafe.

Scott took me shopping to one of my new favorite stores: Baby's R Us. I got a lot of baby stuff that I don't need, but is nice to have.

I have a wonderful husband and daughter, whom are my most treasured gifts on this special day. Everyday I notice how blessed I am.

Red

"What a pretty little red head! Jen, check out this little red head!" The Wal-mart clerk said as I tried to figure out who she was talking about.

Julia. She was talking about Julia. Could Julia be a red head?

Scott and I have both noticed the red tones in certain light from time to time. Has her hair changed enough for others to notice?

Her hair is looking more red than brown lately.

Oh, the excitement! What will the final hair color be???
